ST:TNG Shuttle Decals

ST:TNG Fans!  Tired of looking at your dull, lifeless shuttle?  Want to make it look new again - and more realistic?  I have created a complete set of waterslide decals to make your shuttle look better than the original, with authentic Star Trek logos correctly sized for your shuttle.  Ever notice how the original emblems looked a little too big?  And there is no real detail in the stickers?  That is because they are just that - simple stickers.   The waterslide decals I have created are nearly identical to those seen in every episode of ST:TNG, and include many details left off of the original stickers.  These are NOT simple scans of the original stickers made by Williams.   These were painstakingly recreated from the hundreds of images of the actual shuttlecraft used in the TV series, and as close to the correct size and coloration as you can get.   Below is a low-res image of what you will get.  Included are decals for the Romulan Warbird and Borg ships as well.  Also included are the transporter coils, extra nameplates and a "dashboard" should you feel like cutting out the windows to light your shuttle.  The decals are printed at 1200dpi resolution and will look better than the original stickers.  Also shown is an actual shuttle with the decals applied.
Complete installation instructions included.

The waterslide decals come ready to install.  If you ever built a model car and had to put on the decals, you can do this yourself!  A couple of things you will need to get to finish the job.  You will need some alcohol, Goo-Gone, or other cleaer to remove the sticker residue.  You will also need to stop by your local hobby shop - or where ever you buy plastic model cars - and buy a can of the Ultra-High-Gloss clear spray.  Testors (#1261) and Model Master (#28139) both sell a brand in the small 4 oz. spray can.  Once you remove the old stickers and thoroughly clean the shuttle, you are ready to apply the decals.  Just cut them individually from the sheet and immerse in luke-warm water for 30 to 60 seconds.  Slide them onto the shuttle and position while still wet - a soft, small paintbrush helps smooth out any trapped bubbles.  Then just dab with a dry paper towel or soft cloth to set them in place.  When you are finished, spray with the clear lacquer and you are ready to reinstall.  Total time from start to finish is about 30 minutes.

Price is $25.00 for the full set of decals, including everything you see above.

If you would like to cut out the windows, do so BEFORE installing the new decals.  Just mark the edges of the windows with an Exacto knife by scribing along the edges of the stickers BEFORE you remove them.  Then cut through the plastic with a dremel tool.  I drill the "corners" with a fine drill bit to mark those points.  Please note that the plastic is over 1/8" thick - so do so AT YOUR OWN RISK!  I am not responsible for mangled or damaged shuttles due to owner incompetence.  These shuttles are EXTREMELY rare and hard to find, so think twice about it before you begin cutting.  To mount the Control Panel decal, I normally place it on a piece of clear acetate and then glue it to the underside of the shuttle.  There is an edge on the underside of the shuttle exactly where the "dashboard" should mount.  If you need more details, please contact me. .
